Every day, Lan always comes to work with an eager mood because she has recently closed many big contracts with customers. She never thought that she could be a salesperson or a consultant because she thought that being a salesperson must be smart and have many tricks. Duyen came since she was an assistant to the director. After working for a while, seeing her ability, the boss let her take on the responsibility of sales for a new field that the company had just opened. She was always the top in that group and after 2 years she was considered for the position of sales manager with a good salary.
As someone who is always progressive and accepts challenges, she thinks she will do well in this position. But it was also a difficult experience and she thought, “Let’s just be an ordinary employee”. A long series of stressful days with piling up difficulties. Because she is used to working independently and proactively. But in her new position, she had to manage a team of 10 people. She takes the time to complete her personal work and lead her team. That made her feel exhausted. She confided:
After 6 months of working and feeling too much pressure, she intended to give up. Being a manager gave her a lot of learning and experience, but being an ordinary employee would be much easier. She confided it to a friend of hers. Her friend smiled and said, she was the image of that friend 1 year ago and now her friend loves her job more than management a lot more by taking a course: Management Skills for Middle Managers. Lan decided not to work for 2 days to spend time on the course. Separate from work and meet students from many high-level corporations and other companies. She learns from instructors, from classmates, and practices many real-life situations through experiences of individual, group, games, and video activities.
The course helped her:
She really regrets why she didn’t join this course sooner so that every day for her is no longer a pressure but a series of days of learning, developing and bringing joy to others.
