LEVEL AND DURATION
There are 4 levels in the Programme:
- Pre-intermediate,
- Intermediate,
- Upper-intermediate,
- Post-intermediate
Each level is 100 hours in duration
THE CONTENT OF THE COURSE WILL FOCUS DIRECTLY ON THE PARTICIPANTS’ AREAS OF INTERESTS AND TO
THEIR SPECIFIC JOBS.
SOME EXAMPLES COULD INCLUDE:
- Making Contact: to meet business contacts and get to know them
- Telephoning: to make contact, exchange information and make arrangements over the phone
- Presentations: to give and follow presentations on business topics
- Presenting Facts and Figures: to present and discuss figures and graphs
- Meetings: to discuss business problems and decide what action to take
- Planning Ahead: to discuss business strategy
- Visitors: to welcome visitors to your organization
- Negotiations: to negotiate business agreements
- Meeting Visiting Businessmen, Clients and Suppliers
- Reporting Verbally and in Written Agreements
- Making and Changing Arrangements (Timetables, Plans, Appointments, etc.)
- Letters, Memos, Writing Them and Summarising Them Verbally
- Invitations (Refusing and Accepting)
- Polite Offers and Requests (Asking for Clarification and Degrees of Politeness)
- Dealing with Problems (Decisions. Complaining and Apologising)
- Giving Directions and Instructions
- Company Culture (Guidelines, Beliefs and Goals)
- Communicating across Culture (Body Language, Eye Contact and Facial Expressions)
- Socialising (Agreeing and Disagreeing, Opinions and Suggestions)
- Expression Feelings (Compliments, Praise and Appreciation, Criticism, Complaining and Dealing with
